A legacy built on trust, care, and community
Our story began over 45 years ago with Dr. George Pinsak, who founded this practice and built it into a trusted name in orthodontics throughout Monroe, NC, and the surrounding towns. Known for his charming “beach house” office and long-lasting relationships with generations of families, Dr. Pinsak created a unique practice environment rooted in kindness, excellence, and hometown care. Today, Dr. Bhaven Sayania continues that legacy, enriching the office with modern techniques while honoring the qualities that made it a beloved part of the community.
Meet your orthodontist
Dr. Bhaven Sayania
Dr. Bhaven Sayania—known fondly by patients as Dr. S—brings a thoughtful, relationship-first approach to orthodontics. He grew up in Auburn, Alabama (a proud Auburn Tigers fan—War Eagle!) and discovered his passion for dentistry in high school after shadowing his family dentist. Inspired by the long-term impact a smile can have, Dr. S pursued his education at Auburn University and earned his dental degree and orthodontic specialty credentials at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
After completing both his dental and orthodontic training at Penn, Dr. S became board-certified and began practicing orthodontics full-time. What he values most about his work is seeing patients through every stage of their journey—from their first consult to the big day braces come off. His favorite part? That moment when patients see their new smiles for the first time.
He was presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step into the practice that Dr. Pinsak built—an office with deep roots and a strong connection to the Monroe community. Dr. S felt an immediate sense of responsibility and pride in continuing that legacy, while also bringing his own energy, expertise, and modern approach to patient care.
Dr. S is known for his friendly presence, consistent patient care, and ability to make even the most nervous visitor feel at ease. His approach reflects the heart of the practice: always focused on quality care, community trust, and building real relationships that last for years.
Outside of the office, Dr. S enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, browsing car projects online, and trying to find the best pizza spot everywhere he travels.

Dr. George Pinsak
For more than four decades, Dr. George Pinsak was the driving force behind this beloved local practice. With a vision to create a welcoming and joyful space for orthodontic care, he designed the office to look like a beach house—a signature touch that patients from all over the area came to know and love.
Dr. Pinsak was more than an orthodontist; he was a community fixture who treated multiple generations of families. His kind nature and dedication to excellent care helped grow a reputation that lives on today. Though he has since passed, his legacy remains alive in every patient treated, every smile transformed, and every detail of the office preserved in his memory. We are honored to continue his work with the same passion, excellence, and warmth that he was known for.

Your first visit
Your journey starts with a complimentary consult that includes x-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, and a digital scan—all at no cost. You’ll meet Dr. S, talk through your smile goals, and get a customized treatment plan that fits your needs and budget. We take time to answer all your questions in a pressure-free, welcoming environment.
The experience
Expect honest conversations, high-quality care, and a team that remembers your name. We’re here to walk beside you every step of the way—whether you’re a teen starting treatment or an adult ready for the smile you’ve always wanted.

For over 45 years, we’ve been your local orthodontic office—the one families trust with their kids, grandkids, and even themselves. While we don’t currently have formal community partnerships in place, we are looking ahead to forming connections with local schools and organizations to further support the smile health of our neighborhood.
